FUN FACTS
1.

To elude predators, triggerfish wedge into a hole or under a rock and lock the first dorsal spine upright.

2. The clown triggerfish spawns in deep waters where the young live until they reach a length of 6-8 inches (15-20 cm). The adults move to shallower water and hide in holes they excavate by sucking up sand and expelling it out their gill slits.
