How come you really want to see the giant anteater? Are they your favorite animal?
Amanda F.

I don't really have a favorite animal since there is so much diversity in the animal world and each animal is so cool in their own way. However, I really think giant anteaters are fantastic looking, with some great adaptations. We also recently began to display and train giant anteaters at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and SeaWorld Orlando, so I was very anxious to learn more about their habits in the wild.

When you are in the jungle do you get scared of snakes and spiders and stuff?
Jimmy S.

I like to see snakes and spiders in the wild as well, as they are such an important part of the environment. However, since you can't often see them until they are right underfoot (or above head), it is a bit nerve racking to come upon venomous species!

What made you scream "capybara" at the airplane pilot. Were you scared?
Alicia T.

I have a tendency to scream when I get excited. We had been hoping to see capybara, and here we were, not even yet landed and I spotted some. It was too cool!
