Pig Frog
Rini grylio

Description:
Large frot (up to 6") with cream to pale yellow underside and greenish body.   Large tympanum and pointed snout.  Mottling varies.  Webbing extends to the tips of the largest toes of the hind feet.
Similar Species:
Bullfrogs' hind toes extend well beyond the webbing.  River frogs have white spots on the lips.  Bronze frogs have lateral ridges along edges of back.

River Frog
Rana heckscheri

Description:
Reaches a maximum length of 5".  Large tympanum.  White spots on the lips and smooth skin.  Mottled underside.  Webbing does not extend to the tip of the longest toe on the hind feet.
Similar Species:
The bullfrog and pig frog do not have white spots on the lips or smooth skin.

Bronze Frog
Rana clamitans clamitans

Description:
Medium-sized frog (up to 4") that is usually a rich brown or bronze with a cream colored underside.  The snout and upper lip may be bright green.  Lateral ridges extend about two-thirds of the body length.
Similar Species:
Bullfrogs do not have lateral ridges.  Leopard frogs have heavy, dark blotches in rows down the back and their lateral ridges are yellow.
