Dear Megan, Thank you for writing with your questions about ocelots. Because the ocelot is a top predator in its range, there are probably not many other animals that hunt them. In fact, there are no scientific reports of ocelots being killed or eaten by other animals, with the exception of humans. There is a great deal of genetic and physical variation from one ocelot to another, which allows them to adapt well to new or changing habitats. This aids in their survival. Ocelots are believed to live between 10 and 20 years.
