Buzzards are NOT dangerous to people. Buzzard is a local term used to refer to hawks but more commonly to vultures such as the turkey vulture. Hawks prey on small mammals (like mice) and vultures eat animals that have died. Hawks and vultures are very important wildlife species in our natural habitats.
