J.J. Update

September 19, 1998:

There have been no official sightings of J.J. the Gray Whale since shortly after her release on March 31, 1998. Although the scientists at the Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute continue to respond to sighting reports with interest and enthusiasm, no recent sightings of the young gray whale have been confirmed at this time. In addition, none of the stranded gray whales along the Pacific Coast have been identified as J.J.
Any confirmed sightings will be posted to this website.
