This has been the best camp by far that I have ever attended. The camp staff shows they really care and it is the best place to make friends. I have made friends that I will keep for a lifetime. | We got to feel the tail of a beluga whale—that’s where the vets take blood samples. I got to touch the beluga whales and feed them fish. There was no fence or anything separating us—we kneeled down right next to them. They felt rubbery, but different than the dolphins. One of them squirted us, and one blew kisses. |

| My whole life I’ve wanted to touch a dolphin—I think they are so cute. And when I touched one, all rubbery and squishy, it just seemed even cuter! I put my left hand over my right shoulder and all the dolphins swam away from me and then they jumped up in the air. |

| One day I want to get a job working with manatees. I did a report on them in third grade, and I’ve loved them ever since. Getting up close to the manatees here was one of the best moments of my life, the most incredible feeling I’ve ever had. It feels like my life has just begun! |
